It is sort of like Banjo Tooie aiming.The WII is considered one of the most emblematic platforms in the history of video games. It's not my dream aim like gyro would have been had it not messed everything up but its the best it can be right now. The only way was swing but how am I gonna change swing? I did it. Maybe I can hold a button and use gyro so it wouldn't mess with tilt. Then I thought I could map the gyroscope to the joystick but no this destroys swimming, the beetle, and the bird.
Left and right tilting are the wrong tilt. At first I thought I could remove swing from the joysticks and use tilt aim but no this doesn't work. There were so many ways I tried to go about this problem. AIMING.Įverything was perfect before Satan came from the earth to give me this games aiming. Slight adjustments, going back to other parts of the game to make sure that something that worked before wasn't now broken. Sword swings aren't going the way I want. This victory began a Crusade of this game. It took three hours to make sword swinging good enough but allow more precise movement. I change the config for this puzzle and change it back when done but that is no fun now is it? I could barely do this because swing was very sensitive and would swing the sword with slight movement. You had to move your sword in a circular motion to confuse the eyeball. The moment in knew I had to create my own config was early in the game on a puzzle in the first dungeon with an eyeball. This made me move into the next phase of this whole thing, experimentation. These guides aren't terrible but when playing the game with these type of unrefined configs all the little annoyances tend to build up and create a bad experience. It can't be that hard right? That's the thing it's not hard at all really you just need to learn how simulated motion works in dolphin but many of these guides didn't have that. I just wanted to play Skyward Sword with my crappy Power A Xbox controller. This whole thing started from my frustrations with guides.
